If you know me well, you will know one of my biggest fears is being toothless!
I never, ever want to have to wear dentures, have a tooth removed, nothing and I will do anything (i say that loosely) to ensure that doesn’t happen.
And as counter-intuitive as this next sentence is about to sound, I haven’t been to the dentist in 5 years – shameful, I know. But let me explain, having children and being very involved in everyone else’s lives (or should I say business) it completely slipped my mind. I take my kids regularly and I have 3 other people who have been recently too. So subconsciously, I’ve been to the dentist over 10 times and had some work done too!
I finally went for myself last week to over-haul my pride and joy and got a much needed, verbal kick up the backside by my dentist.
On looking for teeth care products I came across the range by Whitewash Labs. Their Nano Whitening Toothpaste retails for £14.95. Ouch I thought. I usually use Colgate or Aquafresh which at most I spend £2-£3 on for the whole family.
I spoke with one of their representatives who likened the toothpaste to other skincare and hair care products. Generally, we spend so much on grooming, expensive hair, hair products, face washes, creams, lotions and potions for every part of our body that will eventually deteriorate. Our hair will shed, our skin will sag but our teeth will always be here and we spend the least money and effort on caring for their health.
She wasn’t wrong, in the past I’ve sent so much on hair treatments, colouring, moisturisers, peels the lot!
I decided to give their toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash a try and after a week of use I’m in love, especially with the toothbrush.
The range includes Enamel Care Technology © as well as the toothpaste including Hydroxyapatite and Xylitol to help repair and replenish the teeth whilst also keeping bacteria at bay. This brand has created this range not to bleach the life out of your teeth but to create healthy pearly whites.
The toothbrush is plush with many many bristles, some of which are hyper-extended to help floss between the teeth!
I really like the packaging and brand colour scheme, they look lovely in the bathroom.
Overall I give this brand a big thumbs up. Especially since I keep this toothpaste all to myself and don’t share it with the kids, if you ever saw the way they leave their toothpaste *YUCK*.
